The rain has cooled things off a bit, and that’s nice. But it won’t last long and the rest of the weekend promises to be sunny and hot. Be sure to check out our calendar so you don’t miss a thing – and if we’ve missed your event – post it! We want to know all about what’s happening around here.
Enjoy the Art. The months just seem to fly by, don’t they? And now we find ourselves back at 2nd Friday Art Night in downtown Little Rock. But that’s okay with us! Join Historic Arkansas Museum for opening night of their newest exhibit: “You Fit into Me: Works by David Carpenter and Lindsey Maestri.” These two contemporary sculptors use a wide range of materials and techniques. There will be live music by Haunted Pontiacs and the artists’ work will be available for purchase in the museum store. And while you’re there, stop by and say hello! Enjoy a Burger. Or two at the Beebe Backyard Burger Bash! This is always a fun way to really kick-off your summer and help raise money for the Friends of the Mansion.
