You know we love food. You also know we love to travel. And one of the reasons we enjoy traveling so much is that it brings us up close and personal to the many culinary traditions of different cultures.
Sunday, we don’t have to travel far at all to enjoy the culinary traditions of the Jewish culture, because all those wonderful dishes will be in one place: the Jewish Food Festival.
Latkes with applesauce is one of our favorite traditional Jewish dishes.

This festival is one of our favorites. Why? Well, because there’s food, of course! But it’s not just any old food. We bet we’ll find matzo ball soup (can’t get enough of it!) and cheese blintzes, potato latkes and applesauce, Challah, falafel, and other mouth-watering dishes.
But there will also be plenty of other fun things to do, too. There will be entertainment all day by various musical guests, along with a children’s area, art, and lessons in history.
So don’t plan on cooking much of anything on Sunday – but do plan on eating – a lot! Come for the early bird breakfast from 8:30 – 10:00 or just come for the festival itself. Either way – the whole family will be able to taste the many delicious dishes that are traditional in Jewish culture.
This is one festival that we wish lasted longer than just one day.
