We’ve hinted at it. But now it’s official: our cookbook is here! You know we love food, cooking, and wine. And our Tuesday wine column combines recipes and wine pairings. Well, we received so many compliments and requests on our recipes, that about a year ago we began the process of putting together a cookbook.
And the day has finally arrived where we can say – it’s done! We’ve called the cookbook Locally Grown: Recipes Inspired By Local Living. And it seems to fit how we live and what we preach every day on Hot in Little Rock.
This is a small cookbook, but what we’ve done is included some recipes that have been featured in Hot in Little Rock, along with some family favorites. We’ve put some suggestions for wine pairings and some stories in between. Our hope is that you can use this cookbook to create your own family memories, and to remember to shop local whenever possible – especially at the farmer’s markets!
Our release party is on Monday at Starving Artist Cafe – and you are invited. We hope you join us and taste a few samples from the cookbook and pick up a copy or two of your own. We’ll be there to sign them and meet all of our friends who made this pipedream a reality.
Bon Appetit!
