Spring in Bloom

April 14, 2010
This has been a most glorious week. The sun has shone and the temperatures have been so inviting, we’ve tried to eat and live outside as much as possible. We know summer is right around the corner, and with it comes those hot Arkansas temperatures. But right now – let’s enjoy what we have!
And we can’t think of a better way to enjoy the beauty of this time of year than with a trip to Wildwood Park for the Arts this weekend to celebrate their BLOOMS! festival.
Wildwood always throws a great party. And spring is certainly our favorite time of year in Arkansas. The grounds of Wildwood will be bursting with color with their azaleas and other blooming gems. There will be a flower market, so you can pick up your favorites to take home with you, as well as a bake shop and May Pole dances!
The kids will have non-stop fun with the Children’s Storybook Garden, crafts galore, and a play. And of course, just being able to run and play by the lake is enticement enough.
So make sure that your plans this weekend include a stop at Wildwood. This is the most beautiful time of the year, so celebrate it with your friends and family outside – at Wildwood.
