Tomorrow is the beginning of the 2010 Arkansas Literary Festival. It runs through Sunday, and boasts an amazing schedule of things to do for the next five days.
Do you love to read? Write? Draw? There’s something for everyone and Central Arkansas Library System has put together an impressive line up to get your creative juices flowing. From illustrator to poetry workshops and everything in between, you can have a chance to meet a wide range of authors and other presenters.
Love romance? Then plan to attend the presentation by four accomplished romance writers on Saturday. Maybe you’re more interested in how to get kids to love to read. If that’s your passion – there’s a workshop for you, too.
What about those kids? Don’t worry. Brian and Terri Kinder are around to perform, as is Wildwood. From origami to illustrating, the whole family can get in on the hands-on workshops offered as part of the festival.
We’re impressed with the expansive list of offerings this week. There really is something for everyone. And what’s there not to love about the written and spoken word? Beauty and meaning lie within each sentence. So put that creative hat on and experience it for yourself.
