Hot In Little Rock

We are having a baby.  Now, since it’s been six years since we had to buy baby stuff, we need everything.  We really are starting over in this department.  So we’ve been out there scouting for furniture, bedding, linens, strollers, you name it.

Now, most people tend to go to one of the big box stores, register, and stop.  Sure, you can get everything you need at one of those stores – but they don’t always have the best selection or quality.  And, they aren’t really local.

We’ve been to the big box stores.  We know what they have.  And we’ve also registered at Pickles and Ice Cream.  What a difference.  Instead of walking into a huge and overwhelming store of “stuff,” you walk into a very manageable store of quality.  And instead of waiting in a line to complete what seems like a loan application process, you’re greeted by one of the owners and given the royal treatment.

These folks know what they’re doing.  And they’ve got two certified car seat installers on staff.  Have a question about your car seat?  Having trouble installing it?  They are there willing to help and make sure your baby is safe and secure.

And instead of fumbling through the strollers and car seats and highchairs, trying to make up your mind – they’ll walk you though – hands on – each model they carry.  We’re going with Chicco this time.  But they’ve also got some great Peg Perego and BOB products that will knock your socks off.
