Another Friday, and we have spring fever in the worst way.  Maybe the weather will hold out so we can enjoy it this weekend.  It’s certainly a weekend filled with theater.  The Rep’s new Production, Glorious, opens, along with several other productions.  So we guarantee that if you love the theater – you won’t be bored this weekend!  Be sure to check out our calendar so you don’t miss a thing – and if we’ve missed your event – post it!  We want to know all about what’s happening around here.

The Livin’ is Easy. Especially if you love Gershwin.  This weekend, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra brings Gershwin’s beloved Porgy & Bess to the stage at Robinson.  Enjoy your favorite songs, such as “Summertime” “I Got Plenty o’ Nuttin’” and “It Ain’t Necessarily So.”  Friday and Saturday, 8:00 p.m. Call (501) 666-1761 for tickets.

Consequences. We tell our kids all the time that there are consequences for their actions.  So why would those fairy tale characters be any different?  Enjoy Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award winning musical,  Into the Woods, this weekend.  Put on by the Second Presbyterian Youth, this is their 29th Annual Spring Musical Production!  Be entertained with the intertwining plots from several of the characters from the Brother’s Grimm Fairy Tales.  Friday and Saturday, 7:00 p.m. Sunday, 2:00 p.m.  $15 for reserved seating, available by calling (501) 690-8849.  General seating $10 for adults or $8 for children and seniors.  Call (501) 227-0000 for reservations.
