Looking for someplace fun to go on Valentine’s Sunday?  Well, grab the whole family and head over to St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church.  They’ve got your evening planned with fun activities for the whole family.

Start the afternoon off with an art sale!  Everyone love art – and it’s always fun when the artists are local.  Check out all the different pieces and pick up a few for your Valentine.  There will be jewelry as well as original art to beautify your home.  And be sure to watch KATV on Saturday as local artist Steve Griffith paints live on television.  Then look for that very work at St. Margaret’s on Sunday – it could be yours!

Now, Ash Wednesday is coming up next week.  That means Shrove Tuesday and, of course, Mardi Gras come before!  So this event wouldn’t be complete without a Mardi Gras party, would it?!

Come for the art.  Stay for the party.  There will be lots of Cajun food to fill your belly.  Dance to the tunes of the Rodney Block Trio and revel in the fun before the fast.  Don’t worry about the kids – they have their own menu and fun.

So come discover some new art – some new artists – and have some fun, too.  This is going to be a great party.
