A Rose is Just a Rose
February 3, 2010

Giving a dozen roses to your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day?  So last decade.  Show your special someone how much you care with a gift that won’t soon be forgotten: a singing Valentine!

Yes, now you can really brighten up your loved one’s day with roses AND a visit from a Barbershop Quartet dressed to the nines.  The Diamond State Chorus is at it again, providing the best Valentine’s Day gift ever.

What do they do?  These handsome and talented men from the Diamond State Chorus will show up at the designated place, and serenade your sweetie with some of the best love songs ever written.  Then come the roses and the pictures.

The Diamond State Chorus specializes in vocal music in the barbershop style.  They support vocal music education by partnering with choral groups, music educators and other organizations.  All the money raised from this special weekend of singing will help fund their charitable and civic appearances and the Youth in Harmony programs.

You can order this one-of-a-kind Valentine for your loved one to appear between Friday, February 12 and Sunday, February 14.  Prices start at just $50.  They can even make a phone call if your honey is far away.

So this Valentine’s Day, make it one to remember.  Step into 2010 in style with a Singing Valentine!

  1. I did this several years ago for my husband, and it was a runaway hit! He enjoyed it, and the ladies at the Museum of Discovery (where he worked at the time) even had tears on his behalf! ;)

I’ll have to do this again. Highly recommended.
