We hope your holiday celebrations were merry last week. And we hope that you were surrounded by loved ones and created new memories. Now that New Year’s Eve is approaching, have you made your plans? We thought we’d highlight three great parties that are going on, so that you can get your week planned. And do you know of other celebrations? Post them on our calendar so we can all take advantage!
Old Fashioned Fun. The Empress of Little Rock is having a very fancy party. They are planning a decadent four course meal with wines paired by their house sommelier. That’s followed by dancing in the Queen Anne parlors. Dress in your finest fashions from today or from 1889. Fun with the Animals. The Little Rock Zoo is on a roll with their Zoo Year’s Eve party! This is always lots of fun and always a unique experience. Join your friends in Cafe Africa for dancing to the funky tunes of the Shannon Boshears Band and enjoy food from all the great restaurants around town. Put on your best cocktail attire and paint the Zoo red! 8:00 p.m. Little Rock Zoo. $75 in advance or $100 at the door. Call (501) 661-7208.
Rockin’ Fun. Watch out, ’cause The Peabody is gonna have a party! They have musical acts everywhere – from the lobby to the ballrooms – so you can take your pick of what kind of music you want. From Tragikly White to CRISIS and more, we’re sure you won’t leave with your shoes on. 8:00 p.m. Peabody Little Rock. $40.00 in advance or $50 at the door. Call (501) 399-8059.
