December 25, 2009
Merry Christmas! The day has finally arrived. We hope you are warm and dry and safe with your loved ones. We hope you eat lots of great food and that Santa brought you just what you wanted. Things are a bit quiet this holiday weekend, but we know you won’t have any trouble staying busy. Be sure to check out our calendar so you don’t miss a thing – and if we’ve missed your event – post it! We want to know all about what’s happening around here. Our Top Three events for this weekend are:
Eat Up. Looking for a reason not to cook today? The Peabody Little Rock is having a Christmas Day brunch! There will be turkey, dressing and all the trimmings, along with other yummy brunch foods. Enjoy being with your family and friends without worrying about the dishes. Today, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Call (501) 399-8062 for reservations.
Get Happy. Have you seen Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat yet? Well, if you have, you know that you must see it again! And if you haven’t, why not spend Christmas with The Rep? Yes, they have a show tonight, and the cast and crew are waiting to share this magical evening with you. So get your tickets before the show closes on January 3, and make this the merriest time of all. Visit www.therep.org for online tickets or call (501) 378-0405.
After the Gifts. You’ve opening up all the presents, now what? This weekend, take the family to Heifer Village. They’re open and ready for some interactive fun. Admission is free and is some of the most fun you can have while learning about how to make the world a better place. Plus, they’re opening for shopping and lunch! Visit www.heifer.org/heifervillage.
