Yes, the shopping season has really begun. Last week was Partners Card week. So we hope you stocked up on great items from some of your favorite merchants. This week brings another one of our favorite shopping experiences: Holiday House!
Each year, the Junior League of Little Rock puts on a great shopping event that brings merchants from near and far into one location. They are back at the Statehouse Convention Center this year for all the shopping fun you can stand. And we can stand a lot!
Each year, they get more inventive with the events that accompany the general shopping hours. This year is no different. Starting on Wednesday night, their preview party includes music by Crisis, food, drink, and wonderful specials you can only get that night.
Then Thursday morning, enjoy brunch and crowd-free shopping at their Very Merry Morning private shopping excursion. Return Thursday night with your girlfriends for a fun ladies night out with food, drink, and shopping.
Saturday is the best time to bring the kids. Mrs. Claus will be there to serve milk and cookies and Santa will listen to wishes while Joel’s Photography snaps pictures. The Gingerbread House Competition will also be happening Saturday.
So not only will you be able to find something for everyone on your list (and maybe a few things for yourself, too) but you will find entertainment for the whole family. This really is the shopping event of the season.
