Oh, the sun. What a blessing to have it back. The fall colors have been amazing, and now we are ready for the holiday season to begin! The weekend promises to be another beautiful one, so get out and enjoy. We can’t feature everything here, so be sure to visit our calendar at www.hotinlittlerock.com to see all the fun things going on. And make sure your events are posted, too! Here are our Top Three:
Art. Tonight is Art & Soul at M2 Gallery! This is always a great event and one you shouldn’t miss if at all possible. Over 100 pieces of art will be up for auction. They’re painted by local artists and by the children at Easter Seals. Capi’s is providing food created just for this event and Glazer’s is providing fun cocktails. Don’t miss the ice slide, either! You’ll be entertained by the Drew Pickens Trio as you help raise money for Easter Seals. Friday, M2 Gallery, 6:00 p.m. Click Here for more information and to purchase tickets.
Music. This weekend finds us back at Robinson for another great performance by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. This time the hall will be filled with music by Schumann, Brahms, and Beethoven. Guest Conductor George Hanson leads and Cellist Joshua Roman will delight. Saturday & Sunday, Robinson Center Music Hall. Visit www.arkansassymphony.org for more information and for tickets.
Community. Sunday’s weather will be perfect. And what a better way to celebrate our wonderful, unique, and diverse community than with a walk? Bring your friends, your kids, your pets, your neighbors for JCCA’s 10th Annual Walk for CommUNITY. This one-mile walk is easy and fun – and serves to remind all of us about the benefits and joys of living in community with one another. There will be music, entertainment, t-shirts and refreshments. Sunday, 3:00 p.m. River Market Pavilions. Visit www.arkansasjustcommunities.org for more information or to register online.
