There’s more shopping to be had this week! We’ve got Halloween at our back and Thanksgiving right around the corner. And this also means that our shopping season is in full swing. There will be lots of opportunities to search for the best gifts for everyone on our list. And we’ll be telling you about all our favorites places to shop.

This week we don’t want you to miss Trading Treasures. This is a wonderful and fun way to find something for every budget. This sale – featuring jewelry and gently-used purses – benefits Planned Parenthood of Arkansas. Maybe your daughter or granddaughter loves to play dress up. Well, there will be pieces starting at $1.00 – so you can afford to stock up her costume chest.

But maybe you’re looking for that elegant piece of jewelry or a unique purse for a fraction of the original cost…. It will be there. The prices go up to $500, so you know there will be some great high-end best buys to be had as well.

The volunteers putting together this great sale all have excellent taste. And they’ve gathered some great items from all over. There will be a preview party on Friday night – where you can have the chance to get first dibs on your favorites. The sale will continue on Saturday, so you can bring your friends or family members back for more shopping fun.

We think this is also a great time to give the ministaffers their allowance, and take them shopping for us, their grandmothers and aunts. It’s an affordable way for them to not only help out a great cause, but get some great shopping done.

So our treasure map is not hard to read. It places a big X right on Hillcrest Hall this weekend!
