Hot In Little Rock

So, there’s the wine.  Over 100 different varieties of wine will be on hand tonight for your tasting pleasure.  Fall in love with a new sparkling wine for your holiday table.  Or try a new red that you’ve never even heard of before.  Uncorked is always a great venue to test and try something new before you buy.

But then there’s the food.  This year most of it is catered by Lulav.  Yes, one of our favorite restaurants will be providing a spread of food that makes our mouths water just thinking about it.  There will be beef tenderloin, marinated shrimp, grilled vegetables, bruchetta, olive tapenade and more.  Plus an entire cheese table donated by Cabot Creamery.

Got your mouth watering yet?  Get this.  After you’ve had your fill of savory items and mixed and matched with great wines, turn your palate to something sweet.  Cocoa Belle will be on hand with their amazing handmade chocolates.  Will you pair them with a sparkler?  Or a red?  Sometimes a Rose works well, too!  Whether you try them with one or all, this is a special treat for all of us chocolate and wine aficionados.

Now, we’re going for the food and wine, but we’re also going to support the Museum of Discovery.  This is a wonderful museum that provides great learning opportunities for kids of all ages.  Our ministaffers love it when we make outings to the Museum of Discovery.  So help them continue to provide their wonderful camps, exhibits, and other educational opportunities to kids all over the state.

There will be a great silent auction, a raffle for two round-trip airline tickets, and even a wine pull.  It’s a party where there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone – and it’s happening tonight!  So don’t delay.  Get a babysitter.  Feed the dog.  Grab your significant other.  And head over to the Museum of Discovery tonight for one of the best parties in town!
